We celebrated Chris' birthday at Camp 18 this year. Camp 18 is a log cabin-type structure built by Gordon Smith and friends. Its architecture is authentic in materials and construction techniques and features. There are lots of cool wood carvings throughout the Camp 18, as well as, a real logging caboose, a “Big Wheel” logging arch, and old time tractors. Chris has talked about Camp 18 since we met but have never had a chance to go there. So we packed up the family and headed out a morning drive toward the coast. We all enjoyed our breakfast and each others company. As always, the kids loved running around, throwing rocks in the river and playing with one another. All the cousins are so good together!! Happy Birthday to the best husband ever!!

From Children's Museum 1st visit

What a fun place! Today my sister invited us to go see some African drummers at the Children's Museum. Cohen loved listening and grooving to the music. We also played in the museum after the show. All the kids loved the grocery store (even two big kids)!! We will definitely need to go back and explore another day.
